Egg Stew recipe

Description:
An easy dish for poori, chapati, bread and appam

Ingredients:

Egg - 6
Potato - 3 small
Onion  - 3 cut into small thin slices
Ginger grated - 1tsp
Green chillies slit - 3
Garam masala - 1tbsp
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1tbsp
Pepper powder - 1tsp
Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
Thin coconut milk - 2 cups.
Salt
Curry leaves

Preparation:

Hardboil the eggs and the potatoes in a pressure cooker with salt and water. Allow it to cool. In a deep vessel, add oil and splutter some mustard. Add the onions and fry till brown. Add the ginger and green chillies and fry some more. Now add the chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala and fry till dark in color. Add the thin coconut milk. Add salt and pepper and bring to boil on a slow flame. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut into cubes. Add to the stew. Remove the egg shells and line the egg with a knife. You can cut into half if you prefer. Now add the eggs to the stew. Give it a small boil and off the stove. Add the thick coconut milk and the curry leaves. Stir carefully so as not to break the eggs.

Tips:

1. If the spice is less add pepper powder and stir.
2. Do not boil after adding the thick coconut milk.

Egg Curry recipe

Description:

Egg with Drumstick
   
Ingredients:

Egg:5
Coconut:1/2(to grind)
Drumstick:1(cut into long)
Curry leave:few
Red chilli powder:1tsp
Cumim seed:1tsp
Turmeric powder:1/2tsp
Salt to taste
onion small:5(cut in long)
Oil
Mustard;1/2tsp

Preparation:

Cook the Egg. Then gring the coconut,Red chilli powder,cumin seeds.Pour oil in a pan.Then put the mustard after it popped put the curry leave,onion,drumstick.Then pour some water.And cook the drumstick for five minutes.Then put the grounded coconut& boiled egg,salt.Cover it with lid and cook for five minutes

EGG BALL recipe

Ingredients:

Hard Boiled Egg : 4
Egg: 1
Bread Crumbs: 100g
Garlic : 4 cloves(creamed)
2 green chilies(finely chopped)
Salt: 1 teaspoon


Preparation:

In a bown mix together the 1 beaten egg and bread crumbs, garlic, green chillies,salt.  Divide in to four equal parts.  With oiled hands, shape eac mince portion in to a 5 inch round flat cake.  Place a hard boiled egg in the centre and mould the mix evenly around the egg making sure no thin areas.  Keep covered to prevent the surface drying.

Heat oil in a pan and fry till they are brown.

Tips:
Add salt when boiling the egg.  And wait they are cold to remove the shell.

Egg Avial recipe

Ingredients:

3 to 4 Hard Boiled eggs
Grated Coconut - 3/4 cup
Coriander pdr 1 to 2 tsp
Turmuric pdr 1/2 tsp.

Preparation:

Groud the coconut with coriander and turmuric powders with water to a fine paste. Quarter each egg, and cook them in the coconut mixture until the curry thickens. (Do not forget to add salt.) Add in curry leaves and a little cocnut oil once the avial is done.

Spicy and Tangy Egg Burji recipe

Description:
This is a meal by itself ,but makes a good serve with chapaths and bread.
   
Ingredients:

eggs-4,
onion 1 medium,
chopped,
garlic 2-3 pods crushed,
green chillies 3 minced,
tomatoes 3 minced/pureed,
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp,
chicken masala pdr-1/2 tsp,
oil 2 tbsp,salt and pepper to taste,
coriande leaves minced for garnishing

Preparation:

Beat eggs well with a few spoons of milk.cot the onions,chillies ,tomatoes and keep aside.
heat oil and add the onions,garlic and chillies.fry till the onion is transparent.add the tomatoes and the turmeric.fry till oil separates from the mix.add the chicken masala and pepper.fry.add the eggs and mix well .add the salt and mix till the eggs are set/semi set-according to taste.garnish with the chopped coriander and mix.and aromatic , tangy,spicy and tasty dish is ready.

Egg Curry in north india recipe

Ingredients:

boiled egges - 4
onians         2
tomattor       2
oil            2 tsp
corriander
powder         2 tspn
chillipowder   1 tspn
meat masala    1 tspn
garam masala   1/4 tspn
turmeric and
salt            required
water           as required


Preparation:

Cut eggs in small pieces for best results. mash 2 onion with white onian and ginger and 2 tommattos (both onian and tomattos) seperately. boil a little oil in a pan and put a few mustards on it .then fry the mashed onions upto brown , then put tommatto , let it become brown color,add 2 tspn corriander powder, 1 tspn pepper powder, 1 tspn chilli powder, 1 tspn meat masala, 1/4 tspn garam masala, then put a little water (as required) then add boiled egg pieces . add a 1/4 tspn turmeric and salt (required).

Kerala Beef Fry recipe

Ingredients:

Beef -1kg
onions -2medium(sliced)
green chillies -6-8
ginger -1 chopped
coriander pwdr -2tsp
Garlic -8 pods
Tomatoes -2chopped
Cinnamon -1
Cloves -5
cardomom-5
Perunjeerakam 4 tsp
Blackpeppercorns 20
turmeric pwdr 1/2 tsp
pepper pwdr 1/2 tsp

Preparation:

Method:
1.Mix meat with all ingredients except cardomom, cloves, pepper corns & perunjeerakam.

2.Grind the above 4 spices to a masala.

3.Now cook the beef with the ground masala & salt in a pressure cooker till cooked(appr. 15 min.) around 80% cooked.

4.Heat the oil & splutter mustard seeds &add the chopped onions & saute & then the coconut peices & curry leaves till light brown.

5.Now add the meat &cook till gravy is dry & dark brown

Beef Stew recipe

Ingredients:

Beef(small pieces) - 1/2 kg
potato,carrot,green peas - 1 cup each
ginger -one small piece
onion -1 large
garlic -6 pods
green chillies -6
curryleaves
oil - tsp
chilli powder -1 tsp
turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
ground pepper -1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste -2 tsp
coconut milk -4 cups
vinegar -2 tbsp
salt
spices to grind
cinnammon
cardamom
nutmeg
pepper
fennel
cloves

Preparation:

1.Cut stew meat and wash thoroughly.Drain excess water.
2.Add 1 tsp chilli powder,1 tsp salt,1/2 tsp turmeric powder,1/2 tsp pepper powder,
ground spices,ginger garlic paste and pressure cook the meat till 10 whistles
or till it is done.
3.Cut potatoes and carrots to very small pieces.Steam the potatoes,carrots and peas with
salt.
4.Extract coconut milk.Keep the first extract aside.Make 2 more extractions.
5.In a pan,heat oil,saute curryleaves,green chillies,garlic,ginger,onion.Add 1 tsp
coriander powder.
6.Add the cooked veg.s and fry for a minute.
7.Add this to the meat,and add the coconut milk(2nd and third extractions),1 cup of
water and bring to a boil.
8.Add the first extracted milk now.When the sides start boiling,add 2 tbsp vinegar.
Do not let it boil.Serve hot with Palappam

Beef Cutlet recipe

Ingredients:

BEEF                                       1/4 KG
MINCED COOKED POTATO                1/2 KG
CHOPPED GINGER                             1/2 INCH
ONION CHOPPED LENGTHWISE             2
CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES                 4
CURRY LEAVES                                1 STALK
TURMERIC POWDER                        1/2 TSP
CHILLI POWDER                        1 TSP
GARAM MASALA POWDER                 1 TSP
BREAD CRUMBS                              1 CUP
BUBBLED EGG WHITE                       1/2CUP
SALT                                     SUFFICIENT

Preparation:

MIX SALT , CHILLI POWDER, AND TURMERIC POWDER  WITH BEEF. COOK IT WITH A GLASS OF WATER.WATER MUST GET DRIED UP.  THEN MINCE IT IN A MIXER .SAUTE ONION, GREEN CHILLIES, GINGER , AND CURRY LEAVES IN A PAN. ADD COOKED MEAT , MINCED POTATO, GARAM MASALA. PUT OFF THE FIRE. KNEAD IT SOFTLY.MAKE BALLS AND ROLL IT IN A REQUIRED SHAPE.DIP IT IN BUBBLED EGG AND COVER IT WITH BREAD CRUMBS. FRY IT IN A HOT PAN TILL IT GETS BROWN IN COLOR.

Kappa Beef recipe

Ingredients:

Tapioca - 1(1/2) kg in small pieces
Beef - 1 kg in small pieces
Onion - 1 sliced
Chilli Powder - 1 tablespoon
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Gram Masala - ½ teaspoon
Turmeric - ¼ teaspoon
Ginger - 1 piece cut fine
Garlic - 3 pods cut fine
Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
Salt - To taste
Oil

Preparation:

Cook tapioca and meat separately.
Fry onion, ginger and garlic in a
tablespoon oil, in a pan. When brown,
add rest of the masala and fry little
more. Add meat and cook for 5 minutes.
Mix cooked tapioca and keep on low fire
for few more minutes. Remove and serve
hot.

Beef Fry

Ingredients:

Beef - ½ kg.
Onions - 2 large
Chilli powder - 3 tsp.
Coriander powder - 2-1/2 tsp.
Jeera powder - 1 tsp.
Pepper powder - 2 tsp.
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic - 8 cloves
Cinnamon 2 - 1 inch pieces
Cloves - 8-10
Vinegar - 3 tsp.
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Coconut oil to fry

Preparation:

Clean and cut the beef into small pieces. Pound the whole spices and keep aside. Mix the other spice powders with salt and vinegar. Chop ginger and garlic into small pieces and mix all these with the beef, adding vinegar. Keep aside for a while.  Slice onions fine and fry till brown. Drain and keep aside.Pressure cook the marinated beef till tender. Heat oil, put in shredded curry leaves and then pour in the meat with the remaining gravy. Add fried onions and fry well till dry.
